The Imperial Tigers, just coming in off a 15-27 loss against the Brawley Wildcats last week to open up their IVL slate of games, look to pull off the upset against the reigning IVL champion Central Spartans to even up their league record at 1-1 heading into their matchup next Friday against the Calexico Bulldogs.
The Central Spartans, just coming in off a big non-league win against the Del Valle Conquistadores of El Paso, Texas, 36-28, last Friday night, look to go 2-0 in IVL play as they head into next Thursday’s matchup against the Southwest Eagles in the El Centro City Championship game.
